Motoi Sorayama is an artist who pursues the beauty of the human body and machine. Among his representative works, the "Sexy Robot" series has received enthusiastic support not only in Japan but also from the fashion and hip-hop scenes overseas.
MIZUNO invited Sorayama to create the WAVE PROPHECY SORAYAM, the 10th model in the flagship WAVE PROPHECY series.

This second edition, following on from the January edition, features a chic black base color design. The seamless, translucent upper, hollow outsole, silver heel counter, and other Mizuno technologies are used to create a futuristic look that is uniquely Sorayama's own.
The shoes are made of an elastic material , which improves the fit.
The INFINITY WAVE sole unit, which is the culmination of Mizuno's accumulated technologies, has been updated under the supervision of Mr. Sorayama. Compared to its predecessor, the INFINITY WAVE has improved flexibility and weight reduction, and has a unique design that makes the shoe seem as if it is floating in mid-air.
This work, which artistically sublimates Mizuno's structural approach with Sorayama's unique approach, will be available for pre-sale at "2G" stores in Tokyo and Osaka on Saturday, August 28, and will go on sale at select stores on Saturday, September 4.
