SHINARI, the new autumn/winter line of leather shoes from MOONSTAR is now available.

In shoes, the upper and sole are usually made separately and sewn or pasted together. However, there are only a handful of factories that use a completely different manufacturing method.

Moonstar, a manufacturer of sneakers and work shoes, has its own factory in Saga Prefecture. As in the spring of 2021, the new SHINARI line of leather shoes will be released for the fall/winter season as well, combining the lightness of a sneaker with the elegance of a leather shoe.

What makes this hybrid shoe possible is the "third manufacturing method," the DUS method.

Liquid sole material is poured into the shoe mold, and molding and bonding are completed at the same time. Furthermore, the unique method of creating cushioning by flexing the outsole, without using any cushioning material, makes them look even more stylish.

These three new models were born as a result of this process. They are divided into a boot type and a mule type.

A classic button boot, with reference to Moonstar's archive "ivan shoes". Snap buttons make them easy to put on and take off.

This is a lace-up model, which, like the KARAHA, references ivan shoes, but has a work taste due to the laces.

The mule type has minimal pattern switching. A beautiful item with a beautiful appearance.

Based on the philosophy of making the most of the characteristics of materials and manufacturing methods, we use only simple materials to create shoes that are lightweight and fit well.

The items are unisex, so they can be worn together by couples or married couples. In conjunction with the launch, the "SHINARI FAIR" is being held at the "MOONSTAR Ginza Flagship Store" until October 3 (Sun.), so come visit to see the actual items.
