Tamme" is a men's brand created by Tatsuya Tamada, who won the 86th Soen Award, a fashion contest that has produced many famous designers, and studied at "sacai.
Starting with this Fall/Winter 2009 collection, the brand has come full circle. As stated on their official website, "Embodying a graceful contemporary street style where classic and modern meld together," what they create is a collection of various elements that have been gathered and reconfigured, so to speak, to create clothes that feel like an editorial approach.
In this issue, we will introduce six items that TAM will be releasing exclusively on its online site.

The October lineup includes jackets, shirts, and T-shirts based on the "MK3" of the Royal Air Force. While all are minimalist in shape, details such as zippers, ratio-wing plackets, and chinstraps add the brand's unique interpretation to these universal items.

The jacket, which will appear in November, has a zipper design that gives it a rugged, rider-like appearance. It can be worn in two ways: as a regular jacket with the zipper open, or as a stand collar jacket with the zipper closed.
B.A COMBAT SLACKS ¥35,200
Also, these are based on the British army's combat pants. The slim tapered silhouette, subdued color, and silver-colored buttons give them an urban look. If the original military pants are too martial, this is the one for you.

. And to be released in December is the Chester Coat. The traditional item has been evolved into an item with a sense of reconstruction, with an emphasized A-line silhouette, a switch of different-colored materials on the front, and a belt that also serves as a design accent.
It is also nice to know that the atmosphere of the item can be completely changed by opening and closing the chinstrap.
The Tam products will be available at stores in Japan and abroad from the 2010 Spring/Summer collection, so stay tuned for that as well.
