As the summer heat gradually begins to subside, we are now faced with the happy question of what to wear this fall. It is also the season when it is difficult to choose what to wear, as it is too early to wear heavy outerwear and a shirt alone is not comfortable.
Corduroy is the perfect choice for such fall coordinates. The thickness of the fabric is just right for this time of the year, and the unevenness of the ridges creates a subdued look that will add a touch of autumn to your coordination just by throwing in one item.
We will now introduce two items made of corduroy from the Liberaiders® Fall/Winter 2009 collection.
CORDUROY JACKET ¥26,400 each
The first is a jacket made of thick corduroy, based on the second type of G-jacket that appeared in the 1950s, with the pocket layout and silhouette rearranged in the "Liberaders" style.
The relaxed silhouette with a modern air is achieved by lengthening the length of the garment and adopting yoke sleeves that are connected to the body part and the sleeves.
Adding a twist to traditional workwear and sublimating it into a completely new item is a design approach that is typical of "Liberaders.
CORDUROY SARROUEL PANTS ¥18,700 each
These sarouel pants are made of the same fabric as the jacket. The silhouette has a wide gutter at the thighs and a strong taper toward the hem, giving them an urban look that is different from the typical sarouel pants with a slouchy inseam.
The material is unique, and the design is easy to use for everyday wear, with no decoration except for the Tyvek label on the back pocket and the pis-signature on the left side.
Corduroy tends to give a heavy impression when worn as a top and bottom, but as shown in the image above, this work can be worn as a set-up without difficulty due to its unique silhouette and coloring.
Both the jacket and pants are available in charcoal and brown. The new items from "Liberaders" will go on sale on October 8 (Fri.).
