There is a young photographer who is trying his hand at such social trends while surrendering to them. His name is Toyama Takuro. While crossing over into the worlds of music and fashion, he regularly produces photo books and holds solo exhibitions in an effort to reach as many people as possible with his work.HOUYHNHNM's has often featured his activities.

Toyama's technique is not one of fixing the camera on a tripod and shooting with a single shot, but rather of measuring the distance between the camera and the subject and releasing the shutter while the subject is moving, resulting in blurred or shallow focus. However, the roughness and lightness of her technique, in a good sense, makes it seem like a technique that cannot be matched by a smartphone, and highlights the significance of the work as a piece of art.
