Brass Shoe Co., a boot specialty store with a store in Setagaya/Daita, has produced an original video film expressing the store's past activities and philosophy. It is a feature-length film, which is out of the ordinary for a promotional movie for a boot specialty store. Please begin with a synopsis of the story.

The story takes place in modern-day Portland, U.S.A. The protagonist, who was born in this city where the DIY spirit is still alive, is sorting through his grandfather's belongings in his garage after the death of his grandfather, whom he respected and admired. In a pile of junk that he never paid attention to as a child, the protagonist finds a pair of shoes that were once his grandfather's favorite. They are a pair of battered leather boots that his grandfather had once loved. The moment he holds the pair in his hands, vivid memories of the time he spent with his grandfather in his childhood begin to come back to him.
Then, returning from the warm reminiscing scene to reality, he tries on the boots, but they just don't fit.... Looking at the tag on the back of the tongue, the words "Brass Shoe Co. I immediately found their Instagram account, and decided to contact them by DM to see if they could repair the boots. The boots were sent to a store in Japan, far away from the U.S., where they were repaired by a craftsman with proven skills in a small island country, and repaired to look like new.
And when the boots returned to the protagonist over time, they were beautifully revived as the perfect size for the protagonist, with the same smell as when they were loved by his grandfather, transcending time and space. The boots that my grandfather loved and cherished, I will take care of them from now on," he vowed. With this promise in his heart, he slowly walks down the path of memories as if reminiscing.
