OMEGA's Speedmaster, a watch so famous that astronauts wore it on their wrists during the six moon landings, became known as the moon watch.
This 65th anniversary commemorative model, which was unveiled early in the new year, was designed from the first generation Speedmaster, which was given the model number "CK2915-1". To add, the "CK2915-1" is a chronograph that sold for nearly 400 million yen at an auction held by "Philips" last year due to its rarity.
The case of the new watch is made of 18K Canopus Gold™, OMEGA's proprietary white gold alloy, for its high brightness, whiteness, and durability. The case diameter is 38.6 mm, which covers a wide range of arms.
The black onyx dial features the vintage logo , the symbol of the first model. Hands and indices made of the same material as the case, three subdials, and a central chronograph function.
Even more exciting for fans is the fact that the watch is equipped with the Caliber 321, which is back in 2019. This is the same movement used in the original Speedmaster, and the same movement used in that Apollo project.
This special bottle comes in a special box. In fact, the box is also made of wood, inspired by a box made 65 years ago.
Of course, it will be priced accordingly, but once you have it in your hands, you will appreciate its high level of perfection. No official release date has been announced, but it is expected to be soon.
