Calvin Klein's global campaign has long been known for its use of famous artists and luxury creators.
Its latest production, Spring 2022, was created under the theme "All Together." . The cast includes Jenny from the Korean idol group Black Pink, Nigerian singer/songwriter Verna Boy, and Arlo Parks, who was nominated for two out of the four major categories at the 64th Grammy Awards. The cast of more than 120 people, both well-known and unknown, is an astonishingly diverse and international one, which is appropriate in this age of diversity.
Of course, the photography staff is no slouch either. Photography was handled by Glenn Lookford , a British fashion photographer who has worked on campaigns for many famous brands. The movie was directed by Melina Matsoukas, a two-time Grammy Award-winning female videographer.
The actors will be wearing new pieces that are reinterpretations of Calvin Klein's past staples. The brand's basic designs have been retained, but the colors and silhouettes have been rearranged to fit today's mood. These are truly universal clothes that can be the uniform of any race.
A major campaign that is possible only for a global brand. The passion for creating visuals has not changed over the years.
