According to a shoe buyer at a major department store, businesspeople who used to buy multiple pairs of inexpensive shoes are now buying a good pair that they can wear for a long time, as they are less likely to go out due to the spread of remote work. They say that the higher-priced items are doing particularly well, and overall sales are returning to pre-Corona levels.

One brand that is gaining particular popularity in this trend is " J.M. WESTON. Here we highlight two pop-up events that will take place in March.

The first location is Hankyu Men's Osaka. The highlight is the "Nomade Leather Goods Collection," which is the first time it has been launched in Japan, and features sustainable products made from leather that has been left in a factory in Limoges, France. The collection includes five models of card cases, phone cases, and other items made from leather left over from shoe production and leather from discontinued shoes. The lineup also includes all items from the "Double You" collection of leather goods, which is different from this collection.
