The Corona disaster has forced us to rethink all standards. In particular, the fashion industry has been greatly affected by the rapidly changing and uncertain trends.
Masanobu Sugatsuke, an editor who has been active in the context of fashion, art, and culture for many years, has just published a new book titled "Between Eternity and Fashion: How to Read the Spirit of the Times as Shown by Fashion.
This book is the book version of the popular "Between Eternity and Fashion" serial in "WWD JAPAN" and is an ambitious work by Masanobu Sugatsuke, who suggested a world beyond capitalism in "A World Without Lust", that approaches the essence of fashion.
Two new original contents include a conversation with Kaname Murakami, editor-in-chief of WWD JAPAN, and Yoshikazu Yamagata, designer of "Return Afterwards" and leader of "Koko no Gakko".
The present and future of the fashion industry observed and analyzed from every angle. This book is a must-read, even for those not in the industry.
