I don't know how many times, but there is an unprecedented "wallaby" boom right now.
When most people think of "Wallabies," they usually think of Clarks, and they are not wrong, but until 1987, Padmore & Barnes was the manufacturer of Wallabies under the Clarks umbrella.
Padmore & Barnes was founded in Ireland in 1934, and although the company has now moved its production base to Portugal, it continues to make shoes using the same lasts (wooden patterns) and traditional handmade techniques with machines as it did then.
In other words, it is trustworthy, .
Padmore & Barnes and LENO, another well-known and trustworthy brand, have teamed up to produce a new line of shoes. First up is their signature wallaby shoe, the "ORIGINAL LOW.
By removing the piping at the opening of the footwear, a clean look has been achieved. The laces are made of leather in the same color as the upper and the insole is black for an elegant look.
Another type is the "WILLOW LOW," a design with distinctive koba stitching.

Here, too, the piping parts of the cuff have been removed, and the laces and insole are customized in black, the same color as the upper and leather laces. In addition, the color of the coveted stitching has been changed to the same color as the crepe sole to accentuate the design.
Both models use fine suede for the uppers, and the stitching from toe to heel is still done by hand, which I believe gives them a unique warmth.
The insole is a testament to the collaboration.
Padmore & Burns' signature simple, warmth and craftsmanship are mixed with Lino's smart, urban sense of style.
Recently, we often see shoes with waterproofing and other technical elements added to these classic shoes, but I think there is something that can only be found in such traditionally styled items. It's like a soul.
