A group exhibition by three female artists, AICON, Lee Izumida, and Toyameg, will be held at the gallery "IMES" in Nakatsu, Osaka.
Painter AICON paints portraits using spray and silkscreen.
Lee Izumida paints pictures and letters, mainly in acrylic.
Then there is Toyameg, with its pop and erotic style.
The three artists, who have different tastes and origins, have one thing in common: the year of the tiger. Hence, the title of the group exhibition is "TIGER TIGER TIGER TIGER.

Original paintings and silkscreen posters will be exhibited and sold during the exhibition.
In addition, on April 16 (Sat.) and 17 (Sun.), a two-day workshop will be held where participants can create their own original zines by freely combining the printed works they have created.
One alone would be attractive enough, but when these three parties get together, it is truly a "tiger with wings" event.
I know this is a freshly googled proverb, but I will let it serve as a closing statement.
Tiger with wings: a metaphor for adding more momentum to a powerful person, as wings are added to a strong tiger.
