For those who do not know, the brand was started by two surfers in 1969, and has gained support from surfers around the world by creating board shorts that combine performance and fashion. The brand now boasts popularity in both surfing and snow sports.

The costume teams of "Quiksilver" and "Netflix" joined hands to create five capsule collections. With the keywords of the 1980s as the setting of the films, the team dug up the archives of "Quiksilver" to create the collections. The logo image above was created for each collection. The color schemes are different, there are folds and scuffs... Is it just me, or does it make you wonder?

Here are the visual images of the "1986" collection, which was released earlier this year, showing the stylish finish of the clothes with an '80s-inspired form, in the style of Quiksilver. Amy Paris, costume designer for the film, also looked back with satisfaction.

Quiksilver was an integral part of the California fashion scene in the 1980s. (omitted) This drama is a faithful recreation of that time, so it was natural to recreate Quiksilver's archival items in the drama. We hope it will be something that young audiences will be interested in the fashions of the time and that those who know the fashions of the 80s will recall them with familiarity."

The release will take place on May 27 (Friday) and July 1 (Friday), the film's exclusive worldwide distribution date. The "Stranger Things" collaboration has been coveted by many brands, but it seems fair to say that this is a special finish that stands out from the crowd.
