Delicious camping at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. A campground operated by the Transit General Office will open this fall.

Campsites, in a nutshell, vary considerably in terms of standards and tastes. However, this may be the first time that a campground that focuses on food has been established.

TRANSIT GENERAL OFFICE, which has been involved in a variety of restaurants, will open a directly managed campground, FOLKWOOD VILLAGE YATSUGATAKE, in the fall of 2022.

Located in Kobuchizawa-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, surrounded by the Yatsugatake mountain range and the Southern Alps, the campground spans an expansive area of approximately 18,000 tsubo. The theme is "Delicious Camping," just like "Transit. In addition to the campground, there will be an outdoor sauna, stores, a playground, and vacation facilities.

There will be about 70 campsites, mainly auto sites in the woods . A playground for adults, children, and even dogs will be constructed.

The Kitchen & Café offers meals made with locally produced ingredients that are rich in flavor. The chef even processes the ingredients, and you enjoy the cooking yourself in this style. Other meal kits are also available for sale, and you can also enjoy a light meal at the cafe. The store offers a lineup of original goods and carefully selected camping and sauna items. . If you forget something, come here first.

. and most attractive of all, the outdoor sauna area with tipi-shaped tents. TOTONOU (revitalize) with nature in the open air. The sauna is supervised by Mr. Noda Kraktionbeebe, the founder of "The Sauna," a genuine Finnish-style sauna facility in Lake Nojiri, so you can be sure of its quality.

There is also a workcation facility called "neu.Room" where you can enjoy barbecues, camping, sauna, and off-side meetings. The open space is sure to generate new ideas.
