Night hike through Kamakura's mountain forests, relying on your ears. Jack Wolfskin's hands-on event will be held.

When I was a child, just going out at night was a great adventure. Even now, as an adult, I still feel something different walking at night than I do in the daytime. If you know that feeling, you must be a good candidate for night hiking.

Jack Wolfskin, with its iconic backpacks, is an outdoor brand from Germany. Recently, the brand has been gaining momentum in apparel and camping gear, and is slowly making a name for itself.

They do not just make and sell items. They are about experiencing the outdoors. They regularly hold a hands-on event titled "JACK WOLFSKIN DISCOVERY CLUB.

The contents will vary each time, but on August 10 (Wed.), in honor of "Yama no Hi" (Mountain Day), there will be a night hike with a spectacular view in Kamakura.

In the evening , we will walk in the cool and dimly lit mountains. Starting from Kamakura Station , we will pass Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and go to Mt. From the Nagoshi-kiridori we will return to the station at the end of the tour.

The course is designed to arouse the curiosity of even adults, including an exploration of a cave in the ruins of a stone quarry. Trailhashiruaround, a trail blogger with extensive knowledge of Kamakura's mountains, will guide us to the most scenic spots. Headlamps can be rented free of charge , so beginners are also welcome.

On the mountain path, they pick up trash as they go slowly. This is an idea unique to Jack Wolfskin, which focuses on sustainable initiatives.

The deadline for registration is Tuesday, August 9, the day before the event, so you may jump in when the time comes. However, please note that if we reach capacity, there will be a waiting list.
