Dos Monos and Yasutaka Tsutsui have collaborated to create a 20-minute suite of music.

UK rock band "black midi" , US Arizona hip-hop group "Injury Reserve" , and Taiwan's Minister of IT "Audrey Tan" .

All of the above are the work of the hip-hop group "Dos MonosThe people with whom "K" has collaborated. As you can see, we have been expanding our global perspective and have produced many works that are on a diagonal with the world, and we have chosen Yasutaka Tsutsui as our next collaborator.

Many of you may have a Hatena in your mind, but I am sure that this is the person who comes to mind. It is the Japanese literary master "Yasutaka Tsutsui," known for his works such as "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," "Paprika," and "Lipstick on the Afterimage.

We will leave the details of this project to the August 5 issue of "Bungakukai" (September 2022 issue), but HOUYHNHNM's will give an overview of the work.

This work is based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's short story "Dancing All Night" and long story "Dancing Vanity" (2008), both of which appeared in the November 2020 issue of Bungakukai, and is a suite of pieces totaling 20 minutes in length. The bug-like trackmaking of "Dos Monos" is still alive and well this time around, and the choice of sounds, like folk songs, is eerily cool. The combination of Yasutaka Tsutsui's own reading and Izumi Aoyagi's voice from the theater group "Marm and Gypsy" makes this a piece unlike anything you have heard or seen before.

This time, about 5 minutes of the beginning of the entire piece has been previewed on the official YouTube channel of "Dos Monos". Then, in early September, the core of the song "DOG EATS GOD feat. Yasutaka Tsutsui" is scheduled for distribution and release, and this is the mechanism by which a part of this project will gradually be revealed.
