Scolokto transforms with the times, what does it look like now? Find out at artist Takeshi Nakano's solo exhibition.

SKOLOCT is familiar to those who grew up in Harajuku. His form is uncertain, but not ambiguous, and he is seething with a strong will.

Let me explain again. SCOLOcto" is the name of artist Takeshi Nakano's activities, the name of a creature that appears in his works, and the brand name of a fashion item decorated with the creature, which is hard to fix.

Since its appearance in 2007, it has been seen in numerous collaborations with Hysteric Glamour, Stussy, Undercover, and others, and many of you have probably picked it up.

Scrocto" is a series of works that are repeatedly dismantled and reconstructed, and this time, they will be reappearing in the present world. Nakano's exhibition, which will open on August 5 (Fri.), is titled "Skolokto. The title of the exhibition, "Skolokto," now has a new meaning.

Venue.Feb gallery Tokyowill feature 18 new works, including large canvases. The atmosphere is like this. You get the idea.

Along with the works on display, the gallery will also be selling goods in collaboration with the gallery. It is a unique feature of "Skolokto" that you can not only look at it, but also wear it. And once we are involved, we too become a part of the world related to "Skolokto," and a kind of complicity is established. It is called "a time to look into the abyss...".
