Converse's Chuck Taylor is becoming more treasured every year. In addition to the side stitching and the one-star heel label, the deep expression that can only be created by aging attracts core vintage clothing lovers.
The pop-up event will be held on the second floor of the White Atelier by Converse Harajuku store for five days starting on Thursday, September 15.
The collection of fan-favorite items was gathered by Katsufumi Tokunaga, owner of "SOMA SHIMOKITAZAWA," a store tucked away in a back alley in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.
For those who do not know, "SOMA SHIMOKITAZAWA" is a store specializing in vintage sneakers imported directly from around the world, and is known for its wide selection of classic original models.
Some of the Converse items from the 1970s to the 1990s, which were collected for this event, are said to be dead stocks and to come with boxes! This is a rare opportunity to acquire rare items.
