KYNE holds her first solo exhibition in five years, "KYNE FUKUOKA 2" in her hometown Fukuoka. The venue is the newly established art space cassette.

HOUYHNHNM readers will no longer need an explanation. KYNE is an artist well known for her portraits of cool, urban women drawn with simple lines. Her popularity has now spread outside of Japan, and her presence in the contemporary art world is growing by the day.

Recently, KYNE has had a series of large-scale exhibitions, including the "SAI" exhibition at Shibuya Miyashita Park in 2020, followed by "KYNE Kaikai Kiki" in 2021. ......Fukuoka residents, we have been waiting for you! The "cassette" chosen for this exhibition is an art space with a cafe that has recently opened. KYNE, a local hero, will be opening the space with about 30 of her new works.
