The shoes I looked down on were the well-known "Gommini" shoes from "Tod's," but the pebbles peeking out from the sides and the pebbles on the heel seemed somehow large.... I turned the shoes over and my intuition was confirmed. The pebbles were obviously large!
As it grows larger, the number of pebbles, said to be over 100 per foot, is now 37. Its name is "Gommini Bubble. I guess it means that the pebble swelled up like a bubble.
The change may seem small, but the impression is quite different. The use of color and the form of this model, which was originally a pop and modern model, has been greatly enhanced. The new lasts have also contributed to this change, no doubt. The new last has a slightly wider instep and a more square toe.
The Tod's logo, which had been engraved, is now protruding like a pebble, and this premium touch is also irresistible.
