Article in "AH.Masanobu Sugatsuke, a well-known editor at the "MUJI" magazine, will be releasing his new book.
. The title is "Before the End of Photography. It will be a compilation, with additions and corrections, of an essay on photography called "Ryuko Shashin Tsushin," which was serialized in the photography magazine "Commercial Photo" (GENKOSHA, Inc.).
. The creators interviewed included Kishin Shinoyama, Daido Moriyama, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Takashi Homma to Jamie Hawkesworth, Fabien Baron, film director Ryusuke Hamaguchi, media artist Yoichi Ochiai, and many more, all of whom are in the top tier of creators.
A total of 116 leading image makers of the era are interviewed, from fashion photography, advertising, nudes, landscape, documentary, and art photography to film, making this book the definitive journalism on photography, covering almost all major photographic events of recent years.
The title is somewhat provocative , and very intriguing. What is the theory of photography that can be seen today, when photography has been democratized as never before?
I would like to recommend this book to all people, without being intimidated by its technical content.
Before the picture ends."
