Chinese New Year marks the beginning of a new year in China and Greater China. Chinese people around the world spend this holiday with their families and close friends, and ATMOS will introduce a new collection of sneakers focusing on this holiday. The name of the collection is "Lunar New Year Collection. This is the first special collection for the New Year in collaboration with New Balance.

Five models will be offered, including the "M2002R," which was hotly favored this year, the "M2002RD," with its eye-catching damaged finish, and the "BB550," a reprint of a bash from the 1980s. All of them are colored to resemble the old New Year's Day, with warm, neutral colors such as beige, gray, and brown. The insole and shoe tongue use red, which is said to bring good luck, making them a suitable finish for the beginning of the year 2023.

The look is set in a long-established Chinese restaurant in the Shibuya/Harajuku area called "Shikin Restaurant. . The local community is captured from the unique perspective of "atmos," a sneaker culture outlet also located in Harajuku.
