The new Speedmaster Super Racing is the latest addition to this watch line.
The first thing I would like to mention is that, using a new mechanism, we have managed to keep the day difference between 0 and 2 seconds. While a typical mechanical watch is said to have a tolerance of 15 to 20 seconds on the platitude, this accuracy is astonishing.
This is made possible by the proprietary Spirate ™️ system. The new patent-pending silicon balance spring allows for ultra-fine speed adjustment.
The movement is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9920, which is approved by the "Swiss Federal Office of Metrology and Accreditation (METAS)". By entering the serial number on the "METAS" card enclosed with the watch into the dedicated page on the website, you can check the test results , including the day difference, of the watch you purchased.
Surrounding the dial is a black ceramic bezel ring with a racing-style minute track and yellow enamel tachymeter scale. This distinctive yellow color is also used for the chronograph hands and the small seconds hand at 9 o'clock.
The honeycomb pattern on the dial was inspired by a prototype on display at the OMEGA Museum. This prototype withstood an extreme magnetic field of 160,000 gauss, which took place in 2016. . The back of the watch reveals the movement through the sapphire crystal caseback.
In addition to the steel bracelet, the watch also comes with a NATO strap with a yellow dashed line.
