M.K. LAB is a project launched by KING STAR, a factory in Sabae, a famous eyeglass production center, with the aim of transmitting culture through eyeglass production. The BED j.w. FORD HOTEL eyewear brand from M.K. LAB is made in Japan and offers frames with both looks and functionality.
In this issue, we will introduce the Spring 2023 collection from The BED j.w. FORD Hotel, along with an image look at the collection.
BFH-06 ¥19,800
. The first is the Wellington type, which is closer to Boston and easy to wear for everyone. The rims are thin, but the edgy bridge expresses individuality. Both the front and temples have caulked hinges and are further milled to create a classical finish.
BFH-07 ¥19,800
This is a hybrid model that crosses the lens shape of a Boston with the front shape of a crown punt. It is an excellent supporting model that accentuates the face with just the right amount of presence, and is one that can be worn by all genders and ages.
BFH-10 ¥26,400
The following round frames are based on a thin rim, and the thickness is changed in places to create an intonated design. The material is titanium sheet metal, which gives the frames a classic impression, yet they are light and comfortable to wear. Design and function are well balanced.
BFH-16 ¥19,800
These crown punt frames are reminiscent of trendy European vintage. The thickness of both the front and temples is emphasized, while the rounded corners give the frames a texture that is unique to acetate. The part of the frame that touches the ear has a non-slip surface that prevents the frame from slipping out of place.
