A special project by "Bizbim" and "Ron Herman" will appear this season.

The title is "Product Introspection : Natural Dye".

The special collection, available only at Ron Herman, focuses on indigo dyeing and mud dyeing, two of the traditional natural dyeing techniques that the brand has cultivated over the years.

Pants made of approximately 140oz original denim fabric on RED selvedge raw machine. A notable feature is the deeper-than-usual blue color. This is expressed by the darkest indigo rope-dyed color.

The yarn is woven without stressing it, so the surface is uneven, giving it a deep texture. In addition, the addition of mud-dyeing to the product gives it a unique look.

The main fabric used for the mod coat is a high-density interwoven fabric of specially twisted cotton warp and nylon weft yarns. It has a unique texture with both a smooth touch and soft firmness.

The damaged finish and mud-dyeing give it a vintage-like aura.

Hiroki Nakamura, creative director of Bizbim, had this to say about the collection.

I have been searching for something that fascinates me, and I came across natural dyeing techniques. I find the unique irregularities and textures created by organic techniques that utilize the nature of the land to be very appealing, humanistic, and unique. There are still many techniques that have been nurtured over the long history of Japan and the craftspeople who have inherited these techniques. I would like to create products that can be used for a long time in the future as products that fit modern lifestyles, rather than just preserving them as cultural artifacts. I would like to work with artisans to deepen our craftsmanship while challenging new techniques.

A special exhibition introducing the history of the natural dyeing technique and production process will be held simultaneously at the four stores where this collection is sold, namely the "Ron Herman" Sendagaya, Futakotamagawa, Roppongi, and Kobe stores.

This is a unique opportunity to learn the true value of natural dyeing.

Items made using techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation and should be preserved for the future. It is precisely these clothes that tell a story every time you wear them and make you feel attached to them.
