Yesterday, we featured a limited edition watch from KING SEIKO.. but there has actually been some movement in the brand's regular models.
The newest additions to the lineup are three watches with a case diameter of 39 mm. The faces are 2 mm larger than those released when the brand was revived last year, and the dials have been fine-tuned to look more beautiful, while retaining their former feel.
The new model is equipped with the new mechanical caliber "6R55" , a compact self-winding mechanism with a long power reserve of approximately 72 hours. As proof of this, the dial bears the words "AUTOMATIC3DAYS" at the 6 o'clock position. The addition of a calendar function is another highlight.
Three colors are available: white, dark blue, and green. The white watch has a silky lattice pattern created by applying a hairline finish twice, once vertically and once horizontally, in reference to the "silk pattern" used on King Seiko's heritage models in the past. The dark blue and green colors are finished with a radial finish to give them a luxurious look.
All will go on sale starting Friday, March 10. . The price range is relatively affordable among mechanical watches. Vintage watches are nice, but if you are looking for a watch that you will love for decades to come, this is the one for you.
