Opened two years ago, the gallery "Roll" in Iidabashi has been holding various exhibitions. The next exhibit, "Stone and Peach," by photographer Wahei Kimura, will be on display.
This is the second exhibition of the same name, which was held last year. This exhibition focuses on "Alice in Wonderland Syndrome," a condition that Kimura has suffered from since childhood, in which there is a discrepancy between her subjective view and the real world.
The title "Stone and Peach" comes from the artist's own verbalization of one of the images he sees on a daily and spontaneous basis: the mixture of a hard, monotone tone and a soft, colorful one. You may find new discoveries from a perspective that is unusual and ordinary to some people.
