A noisy collage of climbers boldly tackling precipitous cliffs. ARC'TERYX, which has been leading the outdoor scene with technological innovations that defy common sense, and artist Kosuke Kawamura, a familiar face to HOUYHNHNM's readers, have collaborated on this project.
The limited-time artwork "HENNGE (change)" is on display in the windows of the Arc'teryx Tokyo Marunouchi Brand Store and the Arc'teryx Harajuku Brand Store.

This work is the first in a new project by Arc'teryx, "ARC'TERYX UNCOMMON," which will employ creators. The project aims to inspire people from aspects other than products and lead them into the outdoor field, and is scheduled to continue over the medium to long term.
In the first installment, visuals of the brand's climbing roots are presented using different techniques such as "shredder collage" and "poster collage," which Kawamura is known for. This is the only opportunity to view his energetic works in this size. New works will be exhibited seasonally in the fall and winter.
Kawamura commented on the launch of the project, "I enjoyed working with Arc'teryx because it is my favorite outdoor brand. I would be happy if my work could create a different street scene through the Arc'teryx window.
The Arc'teryx Harajuku Brand Store is distributing a limited number of the 12 posters used in this artwork, so don't miss out if you are interested!
