If you recognize the pattern, then you must be an American casual fan. Maison Margiela has chosen Pendleton as its collaboration partner, picking up the red, pink sunset, and last checks from the 1950s archives.
Among the many variations in the collaborative collection, such as cardigans, rompers, and formal wear pieces, it was the shirts that whetted my appetite the most.
The moderation in finishing the native pattern with a neat collar and rounded silhouette is one word for excellence. Combined with a light, elegant touch reminiscent of vintage clothing, there is no sense of drabness even when tucked in.
This collection is part of the "Co-Ed" collection under the creative direction of John Galliano. This season's "Co-Ed" is based on the "Cinema Inferno" collection released in 22AW, and explores the classic American western uniform. Considering the design approach, it was natural to turn to "Pendleton," which was founded in Oregon in 1863 and started out making blankets, and has been with the brand throughout its history.
This shirt, produced in collaboration with Pendleton, has a beautiful check in soft colors. A name tag on the front is a proof of the collaboration. Each ¥205,700
