This past January, Nigo appeared in the finale of a runway show in Paris wearing KENZO-PACE.
The current focus of "KENZO" is on sneakers.
KENZO-DOME, the first of its kind, was unveiled in June of this year.The simple yet voluptuous form, inspired by skate shoes of the past, attracted much attention.
The second piece dropped following this one is also filled with Nigo's attention to detail.

The new "KENZO-PACE" is made with a mesh upper that references running shoes. The letter "K" indicating the brand name is a reflector specification.
Another feature is the thick outsole. They are tough and shock-absorbing, yet easy to walk on.
The colors are all white, all black, and silver & white for both men and women . This will be joined by Blue & Black for men and Pink & White for women.
Behind this production is the existence of a specialized factory in Vietnam that is skilled in sneaker manufacturing. Using advanced technology, the sneakers designed by Nigo are made even better.
These are now available at Kenzo stores and online.
Expectations are high that a third sneaker will be announced by the end of the year.
