This photo book was produced by Gosha, who visited Japan for the first time in March this year for the store's 5th anniversary event, and personally styled and photographed 18 young people in their mid-teens to early twenties whom he scouted at skate parks and on the streets of Tokyo, in his studio.
The clothes from the Spring/Summer 2017 collection of "Gosha Rabchinsky" and the Fall/Winter 2017-'18 collection, which will be on sale in July, were mixed and coordinated with the young people's personal clothing. Interwoven with photos of the streets of Tokyo, the unique expressions of the young people are impressive, as if they are appealing to the viewer's heart.
Gosha says, "I didn't want the photos to have a strong commercial element, and I wanted people to feel more familiar with my brand by adding my clothes to the fashion of real Japanese youth.
This photo book is sold as a set with the magazine "SWITCH" (Vol. 35, No. 7), which covers the Comme des Garçons special exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. . In Japan, it is available only at "Dover Street Market GINZA".
