The Longines Spirit Flyback, a pilot's watch launched in March this year, is now available in a new model made of grade 5 titanium, which is light and strong.
Once again, the Longines Spirit Flyback is, as the name suggests, a chronograph with a flyback function.
The flyback function was the world's first complication patented by LONGINES in 1936, and was created to measure consecutive intervals of time in a chronograph smoothly and quickly. Unlike conventional chronographs, which require the seconds hand to be stopped, reset, and restarted, the flyback function is a superior feature that allows the hand to instantly return to zero position and start measuring again with the push of a button.
This new watch has a satin-polished 42 mm diameter case , in a deep, dark color unique to titanium.
The bidirectional rotating bezel has a black ceramic insert coated with luminescent material, with small seconds at 9 o'clock and a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and the dial is the same color as the insert, which is sure to appeal to men.
The Longines Exclusive Caliber L791.4 is equipped with a silicon balance spring that is resistant to magnetic fields. It is chronometer-certified by the "COSC" (the official Swiss testing authority) and boasts a power reserve of approximately 68 hours.
A titanium bracelet with an interchangeable system is available, as well as a NATO strap developed specifically for this watch. Both are attractive, and you will have a difficult decision to make when choosing one.
These two neat-looking bottles are sure to be useful for all occasions. For more information, please visit the official website.
