TUDOR's first diver's watch was the "Ref. 7922" released in 1954. Four years later, in 1958, it was officially adopted by the U.S. Navy. This was the beginning of a honeymoon relationship between the two. It is a well-known story that the Navy SEALs wore TUDOR on their wrists as a lifeline for decades, starting with their formation in 1962.
A model that pays homage to the history of its adoption by the U.S. Navy has been added to the Pelagos FXD lineup.
The key point of the new model is the black dial and bezel, and its bezel is unidirectional, which ensures accurate measurement when diving.
The more fearless face is reminiscent of the TUDOR Oyster Prince Submariner Ref. 7016 of the late 60s, but if you look closely, you can also see the pointed crown guard characteristic of the early TUDOR Submariners, and the degree of editing is something that discerning men can't resist. This is a must-have for the discerning man.
The watch is equipped with the military-inspired fixed lug construction that gives the watch its name, the manufacture caliber MT5602, and a fabric strap woven by Julien Faure, a company with a history of more than 150 years. --The Pelagos FXD is equipped with specifications that make it the best "mili-sub" watch of our time, but this new model takes the scale even further.
