Long-established Swiss watch brandLONGINEScelebrates its 185th anniversary this year. To commemorate this occasion, the "Hydroconquest "Blackout"" wristwatch, a limited edition of 500 pieces, is being offered only in Japan.
Originally, the Hydroconquest watch was designed to be water resistant to 30 atmospheres, with a rugged case and a screw-in crown on the side. The Hydroconquest is one of Longines' most popular watches because of its classic look and solid functionality.

The limited edition model presented here is clad in high-impact black. The slightly shaped bracelet makes it look a bit sleeker than the existing model, even though the case size is the same. Another key feature is the use of Super-LumiNova®, a luminous paint that is highly visible at night, on the indexes and hands. The back of the watch is engraved with a specially designed logo and serial number.
The limited edition model will go on sale first at the Longines Ginza Boutique and the watch department on the 8th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building on Wednesday, June 21.
