These days, down jackets are shifting in the direction of elegance. While this is a step in the right direction in terms of versatility, it is not enough for the down lover who believes that down must be firmer to be down.
Jil Sander+'s down jackets have satisfied even these down lovers.

The zip pulls are made of leather.
A tag on the inside pocket clearly states that it is made of recycled nylon and recycled down.
. The leather tag at the hem is stamped with a "+" indicating the brand name.
The puffed-up body is the result of a ripstop nylon so delicate that you can almost see through the feathers. The word "echo" in clothing usually has an unfavorable connotation, but the feathers on this jacket are truly echoing, and that's good. This is the work of creative directors Lucy and Luke Mayer, who say they love the Japanese wabi-sabi and find beauty in imperfection. The nylon is made from recycled materials, which is also a plus.
Another highlight is that no down packs are used. The down is trapped in the fabric using Jil Sander+'s unique sewing method. This construction makes the down feel as light as if it is still wrapped in the fabric.
There are two types of feathers: goose and duck, but the goose feathers used for the filling are considered to be of higher quality due to their larger down balls (fluff). Therefore, the warmth of the down is also proven.
This down jacket is unisex. In addition to the color Aubergine shown in the photo, the lineup includes black, blue, and red.¥346,500
