For those who are not familiar with his work, he uses a wide range of techniques, including drawing, illustration, and collage. His unique touch is somewhat like a doodle, which is strange because it feels so familiar. Some of you may have seen his humorous illustrations in fashion magazines.
Actually, even in HOUYHNHNM.This summer we published a special feature, "Why GH is a GH Name."I asked him to draw a map of Ginza in .
In this solo exhibition, a number of works that differ from the client work will be displayed. Zines and other materials created for the exhibition will also be on sale.
Mr. SHOJI describes the project as follows.
"stroll" = a walk, and it seems to have a more nuanced meaning than "walk," such as wandering aimlessly. I like to stroll around my neighborhood in between work, looking at cats, trees of nice shape, vacant lots, etc. . I usually paint as part of my work, but for me, painting apart from my work is more like walking around aimlessly, like a walk of the head or hands.
. Looking at the works of art, you will surely forget the winter cold and warm your heart. The exhibition will be open until December 17 (Sun.).
