These days it seems like a long time ago when we used to ooh and aah over the daily number of infected people on the news and the Internet.

Starting Monday, December 18, "flotsam booksThe photographer, who will be at theTaka Mayumi's photo exhibition, "Cat's Tail and Spirit's Neck," commemorates the release of a photo book containing photographs taken freely every morning during the roughly two months when the first state of emergency was declared for the Corona disaster.

This is Taka Mayumi's fifth book, and it is one that gives a sense of a time from which there is no going back, a time when no one was sure what would happen next and there was uncertainty.

In addition to displaying selected photographs, Taka Mayumi will be taking portraits for a fee at the exhibition.

Seeing "The Cat's Tail and the Spirit's Head" should remind you of those days, and on your way home from the exhibit, you should also think vaguely about what lies ahead. As you look back on this year at the end of the year, why not remember the time when that Corona disaster began?
