The GEL-KAYANO 20 debuted in the running category in 2013. Based on the GEL-KAYANO 20, this sneaker has been reworked as a lifestyle model in collaboration with KENZO, for which Nigo serves as artistic director.

Developed as a long-distance running shoe, the GEL-KAYANO 20 was favored by many runners for its high cushioning and stable running comfort. With a technical form inspired by architecture and cars, it also attracted attention in terms of design.
Inspired by Kenzo's Tiger graphic, the faux fur upper is decorated with a tiger pattern motif in "Glacier Grey / Black" and "Digital Aqua / Black," while the "Multi / White" color palette is based on the flags of various countries. and "Multi / White" with embossed parts scattered throughout the lineup. All are finished with a three-dimensional design that highlights the contrast between the upper and the reinforced parts.
