With the camping boom of the 1960s and 1970s as one of its keywords, Jil Sander+ has added outdoor goods to its lineup this season. The pocketknife is one of them.
A knife made by the prestigious Swiss company VICTORINOX is wrapped in a calf leather case. A strap is attached so that the knife can be hung from the neck as a pendant.
The gently grained case is so soft that one is tempted to reach for it even when there is no use for it. The logo is engraved on the lower part of the body.
It is also tailored without sewing or clasps. The primitive construction reminds us of high-quality craftwork. When the time comes to dispose of them, there is no need to worry about sorting them out in this case.
Two color variations are available: black and tan in the photo.
