Lowbrow art was born in Los Angeles in the 1970s, and in contrast to the highbrow art enjoyed by the wealthy, lowbrow art spread underground while building a honeymoon relationship with street culture. The style is often ironic and humorous, and Frank Kozik, who created live flyers for musicians, and Ed Roth of Rat Fink are well-known representatives of this style.

Mr. SKETCH began his career as an artist in 1995. He has made a name for himself around the world by creating art for American sculpture artist JEFF DECKER and being hooked up with the legendary "MY FREEDOM" photo book of woven vintage clothing. He has also held exhibitions with Japanese lowbrow artist Rockin' Jerry Bean and charismatic tattoo artist Weirdo Cartoon Tattoo, as well as an art show at "Deus Ex Machina Harajuku" last year. The art show held at Deus Ex Machina Harajuku last year was also a hot topic.
