Kitakaruizawa, surrounded by rich nature, is a place where you can enjoy your own private time. In this resort area, a villa directed by Yosuke Aizawa of "White Mountaineering" was born, and its name is "BASE. Here, we present a full view of this new type of living base that combines the security of a home with the extraordinary atmosphere of a hotel.

It has everything you need, including a study, bath, bedroom, sauna and outside terrace.
Built on top of a huge rock, the architecture is only possible because of this location.
In addition, the unique "NOT A HOTEL" technology enhances the owner's lodging experience. Unlike a hotel, the reservation of accommodation as well as the check-in procedure can be completed with a single smartphone, so unlike a hotel, you can spend your private time without anyone interfering with you. This is one of the reasons why "NOT A HOTEL" feels like home.
In addition, the lighting, air conditioning, and home appliance controls in the rooms are smart home, and can be operated from a smartphone or a tablet equipped with a smart phone.
The Grand Prix chairs by Fritz Hansen in each villa are originally designed using textiles designed by Yosuke Aizawa. The same pattern is used for the SUBU sandals, which are perfect for both outside and inside.
