The "SPEEDGOAT" trail running shoe is a classic from HOKA. The SPEEDGOAT 6 is the sixth generation of this much-loved shoe that can be run anywhere and on any terrain. This is the first update in about two years, and runners' expectations are high. Let us take a closer look at its features.

SPEEDGOAT 6 is a completely revamped version of the previous SPEEDGOAT 5. While maintaining the same proven cushioning performance, a new elastic mid-form has been adopted to reduce the weight by 13g. The outsole has been improved with lugs inspired by the shape of a goat's hoof, further updating its grip. The breathable textile upper, wrap-around bucket-structure frame, and dual gusseted tongue for good underfoot feel are also key features.
With aggressive traction added to the cushioning typical of Hoka, this pair will be released on Monday, June 3. This is a pair that I look forward to using in the field.
