The heart of this project is that we will work together with select stores around the world to give form to innovative and unique ideas that have never been seen before. This is a great example of the depth of "adidas" and its understanding of creativity.
Cassina chose the iconic Superstar as the basis for the collaboration. Imagining its prototype, the sneaker is completed using traditional manufacturing methods. Assuming that the Superstar was born in the mid-20th century, we set the classic saddle shoes as the design source, going back to the aesthetic and craftsmanship of that era.
The shell toe is retained, but the vintage-inspired upper, high-quality leather, and fine stripes make the heritage shoe a reality in the imagination that has never been seen before.
