A New Take on Interior Visuals. An exhibition by Fumiko Sakuhara, three photographers, and Karimoku Furniture will open.

The work of the interior design industry is generally about imagining the people who are there and creating a mood for their lives so that they can imagine how they live. However, the exhibition begins to make you feel that there may be another angle.

It was directed by interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara , who teamed up with three photographers and three brands of "Karimoku Furniture".

Sakuhara says he has been involved in the styling of Karimoku Commons Tokyo, where the exhibition will be held from September 2023.

Osamu Yokonami is in charge of item selection and styling, while Hiroko Matsubara is in charge of Karimoku New Standard, and Saki Omi is in charge of Karimoku Case, each photographed from their own perspective.

At the venue, a photo exhibit will be displayed in the gallery space on the first floor, and furniture will be styled and displayed in the other showroom spaces. By looking at furniture from a new perspective, visitors will be able to notice its fresh look and charm. The exhibition will run from Friday, September 13 to Monday, September 23 (national holiday). I first styled for Karimoku Commons Tokyo in September , 2023. From there, I have had many opportunities, and here we are today. As the leader of "mountain morning," a project to create a space for communication through photography with photographers who are close to me, I was asked to organize a photography exhibition using Karimoku furniture products. The exhibition was a fresh expression for me as well, as I attempted to capture interiors from unusual angles, intertwining the characters and charms of each of the three brands and the three photographers. We hope you will enjoy the photographs of the dialogue between the furniture and the photographers, recorded with their one-of-a-kind sensibilities and created through the involvement of styling, and their view of the world.
