A book focusing on the long-established hotel "Alpha Inn" in Higashi-Azabu, a deep and lewd cultural spot, is now available.

A long-established hotel in Higashi Azabu, Tokyo, "Alpha In".

Opened in 1979, the hotel is unique in that all 26 rooms are designed for special play. The creative spaces, fitted with restraints, crucifixes, and hanging hooks, attract SM fetishists and muleteers, but they are also known as deep and salacious cultural spots, used for filming movies, dramas, and fashion brands.

An art book about such an Alpha Inn, "Masked , I advance. Hotel Alpha In" will be released.

The book includes a document by up-and-coming photographer E-WAX, a 2009 photo by Canadian photographer Natalie Dow, columns by Naohiro Ukawa (DOMMUNE) and Takeshi Hosoya (PEEL&LIFT), and an interview with the owner, Saori Imazeki. While styled as an art book, it unravels the world of Alphine from a fashion and subcultural perspective.
