In this series of seven articles, we will introduce the charms of FN. In this final installment, we introduce Mr. and Mrs. Suzuki, both former "BEAMS" employees who now run a restaurant in Sangen-jaya. How do these two, both clothes lovers and eyeglass wearers by nature, see F.N.?

What is FN (FN / FOUR NINES)?
FN (FOUR NINES) was born in 2023 as a new line of Four Nines (999.9). FN (FOUR NINES) was born in 2023 as a new line of eyewear from "FOUR NINES (999.9)". FN fuses the background of manufacturing cultivated up to now with modern sensibilities to create authentic and fresh eyewear.
PROFILE
Jinichiro and Reimi joined the company in 2024. In December 2024, Jinichiro will open a restaurant "rhyme STUDIO" in Sangenjaya, while running a catering business. Reimi will leave "BEAMS" in January 2025 and will join Jinichiro's restaurant.

What are your plans for the future?
Jinichiro: I am currently running a restaurant in Sangenjaya, but my family in Shizuoka is running a ryokan (Japanese inn), which we plan to take over after the renovations in 2026. Reimi is also going to be a landlady.
Reimi: Yes, I will be the landlady (laughs). I am not sure if I can handle it.
I have a feeling it is going to be quite a stylish ryokan.
Jinichiro: We both like fashion, so we are thinking of designing clothes for the museum.

Jinichiro: I don't have many, but we both hang them.
What kind of things do you like?
Reimi: I tend to wear sunglasses with lenses that are thin enough to see just a little bit of my eyes, not pitch-black. I also often wear black rims.
Jinichiro: I like sports-type sunglasses that do not shift when I move. I often ride bicycles and exercise. On the other hand, when it comes to glasses, I wear light-colored lenses on days when I want to look stylish.
The two of you have a wide range of eyewear designs.
Jinichiro: Basically, we share everything. We have similar interests. Sometimes I hang things that Reimi bought, and sometimes the other way around.
Do you wear eyewear regularly?
Reimi: I usually hang up a lot.
Jinichiro: When I stand in the store, there are times when I feel like "I want to look a little cool today," so I tend to wear a lot of clothes at those times. That is one of the things I enjoy. I don't hang it on days when I prepare a huge amount of food or when we have a large number of customers.
Reimi: I sometimes feel comfortable with a pair of eyewear when I am missing something. Also, I often wear eyewear on days when my makeup is intentionally light. I look at the overall balance and make a final decision.
I like the unlikely design.
Today, we asked them to try on a few pairs of FN eyewear and finally choose one of their favorites.
Jinichiro: I know "Four Nines" of course, but is "FN" a new line?
That's right. FN" is a line that started in 2023, and is the embodiment of what the fashion-loving staff of "Four Nines" wanted to create and what they thought would be good to have. Therefore, there are many designs that do not exist in the "Four Nines" line.
Jinichiro: Indeed, many of them are well designed.
Now, let's start with these metal frames.
Reimi: Yes, it's cute.
Jinichiro: It is much lighter than it looks! It feels like it's wrapped around me.
Reimi: It's a shape that seems to be there, but it's not unexpected. The bottom is more rounded. How about this one?
Jinichiro: It looks good. It looks good, it looks good.
Next is a combination of plastic and metal frames.
Reimi: It's cute. You may not see this shape very often either. How about something clear?
Jinichiro: I like it.
Reimi: It makes it look more stylish.
Jinichiro: I don't have many black-rimmed models, but I like that they don't give a heavy impression, perhaps because the temples are thin.
Reimi: I like these frames a lot. It blends well with my face.
The last one is also a combination of the two, making a square shape.
Reimi: It might be fresh. I don't usually choose square.
Jinichiro: Also, it's good because it doesn't narrow my field of view. I can see all the way to the side.
Reimi: It also looks wise (laughs).
Jinichiro: And you choose one of these.
Reimi: What should we do? Metal or clear?
Jinichiro: Me, this one?
Reimi: Silver was good, though.
Do you two value each other's opinions?
Jinichiro: We take very good care of each other. We don't lie to each other, so if Reimi says it doesn't suit her, it probably doesn't (laughs).
Reimi: That looks good on you (laughs).
Jinichiro: OK, it's decided.
Reimi: Yes, I have decided too!

I liked the combination of these materials because it seemed unlikely. I had always thought that clear frames would look good on my face, but the combination of metal and clear frames is fresh and cute. It also seems to go well with the clothes I have. (Reimi)"
The first pair I tried on was this one, and it was the most comfortable compared to the others. I felt like it would fit my face and I could be stylish without stress.
