The corduroy is produced in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. As those familiar with the textile industry know, Hamamatsu is the center of the Enshu region, known as one of the three major cotton textile production centers in Japan along with Senshu and Mikawa. Even today, the tranquil sound of shuttle looms echoes through the textile factory. In the past, the corduroy boom was driven by this production area.
Delicate fine ridges and a smooth feel. Even the discerning "The ROW" could not resist their charm. They put their skills to the test in tailoring these pants.
Woven on a shuttle loom, corduroy is airy.
The slightly roomy, straight-leg, five-pocket style is sure to accommodate any tops. It is a silhouette that can be described as universal. The elimination of leather patches is another feature.
The brand's stance of not being overly branding is well known, but it is also a sign of confidence. The pattern making of "The Row," which originates from Savile Row, the sacred land of suits, lives up to its name. Combined with cutting and sewing that are meticulous to the millimeter, anyone who sees it will recognize it as "The Row" at a glance.
Our desire to pursue universality is consistent. The T-shirts that started The Row and made it famous are a good example of this.
