Lot 201" was introduced in 1890 as an affordable alternative to the 501® jeans that were once synonymous with Levi's (Levi's®︎). The item was developed as workwear for workers who needed reasonably priced, high-quality denim.
Lot 201" features a back patch made of fabric instead of leather to reduce costs. This model was discontinued as "501®" came into the limelight, but now it has been reissued in the "Levi's® Vintage Clothing" line! In addition, the "Lot 213 Jacket," a "first" model, will also be available.
Lot 213 Jacket ¥60,500
Lot 201 Jean ¥66,000
The black donut buttons, cinch back, and exposed copper rivets faithfully reproduce the silhouette of the period. The pants, which are made of selvedge denim and feature blue lines at the fabric edge, are of such high quality that they can no longer be called a "501®" replacement.
These items will be available for pre-sale on the official Levi's® online site from March 27 (Thu). General sales will begin the following day at Levi's® Harajuku Flagship Store, Levi's® Store Shinjuku, Levi's® Store Osaka, and Levi's® Store Kyoto.
