Busoso.
I visited the final residence of Jiro Shirasu. The thatched-roofed house is a mysterious place surrounded by tall trees and bamboo groves. There were various vestiges of his life, but it seemed as if he was still there in his study, which was lined with books.

STONE ISLAND
Stone Island Jacket

I am very much afraid of it.
Stone Island's unique characteristics are its research and development of materials and its original processing techniques. Every time I visit the showroom, I am always amazed by the new products, and it is amazing that they are able to express these characteristics in clothes that suit our moods. I was reminded of this when I held this jacket in my hands. This jacket is made of lightweight recycled nylon woven with ultra-high density and filled with padding. Although it does not look like it, the fabric is coated with a windproof resin that gives it a unique wrinkled appearance. This gives it a unique wrinkled appearance and gives it a cozy feel. Moreover, by mixing a special substance during the garment dyeing process, the fabric also has a moderate water repellency function. Another thing I would like to mention is the expressive quilting. The stitches run not only vertically and horizontally but also diagonally, which is said to have been inspired by Japanese stitching. Another nice point is that it can be washed in a household washing machine!
I am very impressed. This is already the star of our fall/winter fashion lineup.

COACH
Coach Mini Pouch

What do you want to put in? What not to put in?
In June of this year, I went to an exhibition at Coach. Among the new products lined up at the exhibition, the mini pouch in the photo was the first thing that caught my eye. The size is 7.5 cm (H) x 6 cm (W) with a 1 cm gusset, so I wondered what I could put in it...?
Perhaps it would be more appropriate to hang it from your neck like a necklace and enjoy it as an accessory. If there is something that will fit in it, I will put it away (laughs). What I like about this bag is that despite its size, it has a smooth leather body with a turn lock. This is a typical Coach metal clasp, often seen on old Coach bags. The bag is scheduled to go on sale in September, so I'm thinking of adding it to my fall look without hesitation.

CONVERSE
Converse All Star LGCY

Why I am attracted to All Star.
Looking back, I have worn out more than 10 pairs of "All Star" shoes. Besides the ones with the three-star heel label, the Made in USA ones from the 80s, CTs, etc., I once wore them with white paint in the Margiela style when I was a student (laugh). The reason I started choosing "All-Stars" in the first place was the American band "The Strokes. When I was a senior in high school, I fell in love with the band members' fashion, who wore Levi's ®︎ "606" with high-cut "All Star" shoes, and from there, these shoes became a staple on my feet. If you ask me what I wear nowadays to express my personality, one of them is definitely "All Star" shoes. And since I personally have a longing for the made-in-USA shoes of the past, the "All Star LGCY
I was surprised when "LGCY" was announced. And finally, last month, the red-colored model came out. The standard black and white colors are fine, but I like the red!
This is probably due to the influence of "The Strokes. I bought a pair and tried them on, and was pleasantly surprised by the cushioning, which I didn't expect from an "All Star!
They felt fluffy, or rather, the comfort was different from anything I had ever worn through my feet. The canvas upper is soft and great. It's been a while since I've worn red "All Star" shoes, so I felt good!

BBACK
Sneakers by Bevac.

Try it!
One place that attracts shoe lovers is the men's shoe department on the first basement floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. The sight of first-rate products lined up in a row can truly be described as a "shoe theme park. Newly added to the lineup this summer are sneakers from Be Buck. Beback is a brand established by a leading Italian wellness equipment development company. The sneakers not only look good, but also pursue functionality to the fullest. The key point of these sneakers is the shank between the upper and sole, which is designed to reduce stress on the sole and improve balance. Moreover, they are extremely lightweight and feature the hands-free specifications that are so popular right now. They may be pricey, but once you try them on, you will understand their value. 80 years after the war.
The House of Councillors election in July is over, but as they say, good politics cannot be created without public scrutiny, so what follows is more important. I hope that no matter what happens, war will never happen. This has nothing to do with that, but recently I have been talking with Sakika Arita, an Italian rapper.SHARKI am into the following. I'm wondering if you could shoot some high brands or SHARK as a model.

GREEN ASSASSIN DOLLAR
GREEN ASSASSIN DOLLAR's beat tape "GHOST".

Not by points, but up, down, left, right + α.
I listen to a piece of music from beginning to end, and read the credits for producers, participating musicians, special thanks, and so on. I think there is a different way to enjoy physical and digital music.
ASSASSIN
DOLLAR's new beat tape "GHOST" is a must-have 2LP vinyl release. The jacket by photographer Jiro Onami is another reason enough to want to own it on vinyl, and it will be available for pre-sale at the release party scheduled for September 15 (Mon., holiday) at "Robin Club" in Omotesando.
ASSASSIN DOLLAR and LICK TATSUMA, but I personally also like his beat tape "POINT OF THE
VIEW", "Cannabis Jazz" with Aru-2, and "SUN BEHIND THE CLOUD", a mix CD released by OIL WORKS under the name of Naoto Taguchi, are also impressive.

SUZUKISHOUTEN
Suzuki Shoten mug

Background and memories are set.
My first editorial job was for a motorcycle magazine that introduced motorcycles made between the 1920s and 1980s and the people who rode them. I was in my 20s, riding a Triumph, checking e-bay every day, and exchanging information with my seniors about parts, etc. When I was in my 20s, I asked Yoshiki Suzuki, a photographer, to do a photo shoot for me. By the way, he recently took delivery of a 1976 Harley XLCH. Suzuki Shoten" sells items that Yoshiki has purchased on his travels around the world. Openings are irregular, and the word NOMAD in the store name and on the SNS account is cool. The products are very attractive not only for their value as things, but also for the stories behind them and the memories that are unique to Yoshiki. This is a mug that he bought in Morocco at a recent pop-up at "Toranomon Hills Station Tower," and he uses it almost exclusively for hot coffee at home. The main items at "Suzuki Shoten" are Moroccan rugs, but be sure to check out Yoshiki's favorites from all over the world.

CAYO IMAEDA
CAYO IMAEDA's zine "B-BOY

Dance Dance Dance.
Many of you have at one time or another seen dancers dancing in front of glass at train stations, large commercial facilities, and public buildings. When I hear myself dancing, it is equal to break dancing. I had classmates who danced in junior high school and high school, and after entering the workforce, I got to know dancers at work and went to parties and events where there were dance showcases, etc. BOSS
There are many people from the older generation who came from dancer backgrounds, such as THE MC (THA BLUE HERB) and grooveman spot. Fukuoka-based photographer CAYO
IMAEDA's new zine, as the title suggests, focuses on breakin' & breakdancing B-BOYs. The zine is compact, rough, and cheap, but this one has thicker paper and a larger format. The cover and front cover are too gorgeous. The photos are great, and the name drop looks like a hardcore or hip-hop record.

VaVa
VaVa's record "Recirculation"

I'm looking forward to seeing the Remix.
VaVa's "Re-Circumference" was released on November 27, 2024, and I have to admit that I thought it was a little too emo for my 40-plus years old self, but the more I listened to it, the more it hit me. I was a little concerned about the production process, as it took more than two years from the first time I heard the guitar phrase by Shuichi Mabe to its completion.
LIVE'24" was held, but I was unable to visit him due to another matter, and I remember that I visited "Bachika" in Ebisu at midnight on that day. I told Mr. Masuda of SUMMIT that "VaVa's 'Re-Circumference' is really good," but I regretted it the next day when I told him that it was rude for an amateur to tell a professional that it was good and that I should have told him that I really liked it. When I heard that "Re-Circumference" would be released on vinyl, there was no reason not to pre-order it online at SUMMIT. By the way, the other day on SNS, VaVa was uploading DJ
Screw, etc. up on SNS, which I am very interested in.

KIMMY.
Kimmy long sleeve T-shirt

New Old.
The quintessence of "Kimmy" is, of course, the reconstructed items created by fusing old and new materials. The items created by combining handwork that can only be done by humans with the latest functions (materials) are imbued with designer Kim's many thoughts and feelings.Kochira's interview articlePlease read on to hear more about it in the following section!
And here's an item I've been excited about since I heard about it in that interview. This long sleeve T-shirt is a fusion of vintage cycling uniforms and striped jerseys. It is true that the uniforms you see at the Tour de France are all colorful. However, it took a lot of courage to take them on as a "fashionable" item, and this T-shirt sublimates them into a fashionable item. In addition to the choice of old and new materials, the meticulously calculated curve cutting is also something to look out for.

HOMMENA
Omna shirt

Gathering Identity.
Omuna is an up-and-coming brand that started in the 24AW season. Each item is beautiful in any way, and I remember that when I first saw it, I was mesmerized for a while by the fineness of the craftsmanship. There is no concept of "for men" or "for women," and the designer's chic message, "Do as you please," is conveyed in the free and innocent lineup of items. The base of this item is a western shirt from the 60s. The beige satin fabric is accented with baby pink piping. But it is the gathers at the chest that are interesting. It is not sewn together like conventional gathers, but is actually elasticized. Thanks to this, when the buttons are closed, it gives a compact impression, and when opened, it quickly changes to a flouncy, flouncy silhouette. It is a unique and wonderful piece of clothing that makes you realize how fun it is to wear.

The original socks they offer are their "comfy socks. I am of the school that you can never have too many socks. I have probably over 100 pairs of socks in my drawers at home, but I still end up buying more socks. These socks are as casual as they look. They are thick and sturdy, so they go great with my big sneakers. The socks also have excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties, which is an essential feature for socks. The ribbing is neither too tight nor too weak, and the fit is just the right amount, so you can wear them stress-free. It will work well not only with socks, but also as an offshoot of dress shoes!

POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF)
Post Archive Faction (PAF) Pants

Discomfort is justice.
Asian brands are hot right now! Among them, brands from Korea are gaining tremendous momentum, and one of the leaders is Post Archive Faction.
One of the leading brands is "Post Archive Faction. Recently (though it was quite a while ago), the collaboration with the sports brand "ON" became a hot topic. Post Archive
The charm of "Faction" is that it is artificial yet natural. Like building up puzzles or blocks, it is made with various ingenious ideas and combinations, but there is no stagnation in the finished product, as if it had always been there. The same is true of these pants. The same is true of these pants, which have multiple three-dimensional pockets in strange positions. But when you look at them as a whole, they add to the silhouette and expand the possibilities of the pants. Incidentally, the material is vegan leather. SWJP
S.D.W.JP zip-up shirt

Good regular appearance.
I first became aware of Sean Weatherspoon about three years ago. I first became aware of Sean Weatherspoon about three years ago when I picked up one of his reversible pullovers from the Gap's archival reissue. Since then, I have been paying attention to his work, and I have even been searching for images of his personal clothing. S.D.B.R.G.P., which was launched by Sean and fashion director UCHI, is a brand that exudes Sean's style. Using selected vintage items from around the world as a foundation, the brand updates items from the past by conducting all manufacturing processes in Japan. This zip-up shirt is also based on vintage clothing from the 1990s. Therefore, like a good regular shirt, it blends in with your usual outfit from the first time you wear it. On the other hand, the fine-ribbed corduroy feels good against the skin, and the sizing is relaxed and modern. S.D.W.JP" has both the familiarity of old clothes and the quality that cannot be found in old clothes. By the way, this zip-up shirt will be delivered around September.

DIGAWEL
Digawell Shirts

A good combination of shirt and anorak.
If you ask me what I like in terms of items, I will definitely answer shirts and anoraks. I wear shirts about four times a week, and anoraks I throw on whenever I am in trouble from early fall to early spring. When you combine these two items that are my staples, there is no way I can ignore them. The brand is "Digawell. This shirt is long, pullover style, and has kangaroo pockets, all the features of an anorak. Although there are other shirt-type anoraks, I was struck by this fresh mix of shirt and anorak. Digawell's perspective of creating something ordinary and unlikely by crossing two basic items together is something that I personally find quite appealing.

MANAVE
Manabe's Shirts

Dress shirts for everyday life.
An ordinary open-collared shirt. But this shirt by "Manabe" is not ordinary at all. The key point is that it is based on a size 54 dress shirt and reconstructed from it. As you can see by zooming in on the photo, the tucked collar, gathers under the back collar, and piping at the hem are used to adjust the size, and they also function as part of the design. However, the body width and armholes remain the same as the original size. Therefore, the sizing is an interesting balance of tightening where it is tightened and pulling out where it is pulled out. The production itself is just like a dress shirt, with fine needlework, double cuffs, and made in France. Manabe's proposal is to offer well-tailored dress shirts for everyday wear without feeling self-conscious about it. It's chic.

Patagonia
Patagonia Bags

A hidden gem.
The other day, I stopped by Patagonia's Shibuya store on a whim. As I was rummaging through the store, I noticed an item in front of the cash register. It was this "Carry Ya'll
Bag. I was initially attracted by its cute appearance and picked it up, but when I looked at the tag, I saw that it was labeled as a bag. It was only when I unfolded it that I realized it was a shoulder bag that could fit a PC. The clerk told me that the bag is made from surplus fabric at the factory, so the colors and patterns vary from time to time. Moreover, they are only available at directly managed stores. You never know if you will find something you like until you actually go to the store. I found this element of luck interesting, and at the same time, I really empathized with Patagonia's upcycling style of manufacturing. I bought the purple-pink one in the photo. Luckily, it was just the way I liked it.

YOUTH OF THE WATER
Youth of the Water Jacket

Warmth and knowledge.
If you were to ask me what brands I am personally interested in right now, one of them would be Youth of the Water.
I like vintage clothing, so I naturally gravitate toward brands that are derived from vintage clothing. I love vintage clothing, so I naturally gravitate toward brands derived from vintage clothing. Since I became aware of the brand, I've been looking forward to checking out their exhibitions, and this is what I'm interested in this season. This is a pullover version of Levi's 506XX, or the first model. What is interesting is that the material used is not denim, but a fabric made from several different types of yarn. The fabric is made of several different types of yarns, but still faithfully reproduces the vertical irregularity seen in the denim of the time. To sublimate a classic item to such a modern level, one must understand the details of the original material down to the smallest detail. I am impressed every time by the brand's perverse inquisitiveness, in a good sense of the word. I believe that a brand that teaches us something new through its clothes has an appeal that goes beyond "fashionable.

RIKU UMEHARA
Riku Umehara

The beauty of use is true beauty.
Riku
I was introduced to Umehara by a boy my age who aspires to be a stylist. I have always been influenced by his sense of style, so I paid attention to what I thought must be a wonderful brand, and I ended up liking it enough to introduce it here. For designer Riku Umehara, who was born into a family of potters, the basic premise is that "making things = being practical. The same is true for his clothes. For example, this shirt is made of a small piece of fabric normally used for yukata (summer kimonos) or hand towels. Therefore, the shirt is naturally turned up and can be worn comfortably even in summer because of the transparency of the fabric. The right balance of function and decoration is just right, and that is the charm of this brand. By the way, the gray one is dyed with charcoal and the pink one with cherry blossoms. Maybe it's because I'm a meek person, but I'm drawn to brands with a geek's point of view like this. I'm just asking for what I don't have.

HOKA
Hoka Shoes

This color is limited to Japan.
Items that are halfway between the outdoors and fashion are still very cool.
For me, who does not have the desire to try to be fashionable at all, these items are perfect. I also like this one from "Hoka. The initial inspiration was the brand's distinctive form and color, but the functionality is also top-notch. As one would expect from a brand that originated in trail running shoes, the lightness and grip of Hoka shoes are in a class of their own. The insole, when removed from the shoe, has a catchy color scheme that respects the Japanese culture of taking shoes on and off. The logo is the same as the one used when the company was founded, and the attention to detail is very thoughtful. Anyway, they are very stable in any location, so I wore them a lot this summer when I was working outside. Leave it to us to shoot in locations with poor footing.

New Era
New Era sunshade cap

Surpass ultraviolet rays in style.
Realistically, I've been wearing it a lot this summer. To be honest, there are many times when a new element is added to a standard and classic item, and in the end, the original is better. But this is different. Not only is it functional, but the design is fresh. The material used is a lightweight polyester originally developed by New Era, and the outer fabric has a water-repellent finish and UPF 50 UV protection. This means it can withstand sudden rain and piercing sunlight. It is also interesting to note that the removable sunshade has the logo in a hole-mesh finish. When I put it on, it blended in easily with my head, so I think people who look good in the regular "9THIRTY" can wear it without any discomfort. The lingering summer heat will probably be severe, and although there are only a few left, there seems to be some left in stock, so check it out.
