It was my first time running the trails in Hakone, but the ups and downs were more solid than I expected, and I felt like I was running in a real mountain. The downhill in particular felt great! I have been trail running for about a year and a half. Compared to mountain climbing, the equipment is lighter, and the feeling of exhilaration is quite different. The North Face free-run clothing I wore today has good colors, and the color of the pants especially stood out against the green. The size is also loose-fitting, so I can run in it as an extension of my regular clothes. The pockets are also practical with many pockets. Today was my second trail run. Unlike on the road, I used my head and really enjoyed the feeling of using all my senses. I usually wear tight clothing like leggings, but this time I tried running in a loose-fitting silhouette. These were easier to move in than I had imagined, and stress-free.
